Breaking one slab isn't much different than breaking five. When you have a moment try to visualize what you think would happen if the officer tried to break five slabs that were laying flat on top one another instead of spaced as they were.

I guess I don't see how it would be harder to do if they were all perfectly flat, rather than spaced apart?
