Breaking one slab isn't much different than breaking five. When you have a moment try to visualize what you think would happen if the officer tried to break five slabs that were laying flat on top one another instead of spaced as they were.

CP420: The bricks need somewhere to go when they are forced down. Doing all six at once would be the equivalent of trying to break a single foot-thick piece.
