Stop Motion trip down Yonge Street

Two guys walk down Yonge Street, from North to South, taking pictures every thirty seconds. If you've ever wanted to see the main street in Ontario, and the worlds longest street, here it is!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like they started on the north side of Aurora--maybe at Wellington St, but it's been a while since I've been up there so I could be wrong. According to Google, that trip would be around 40.6 km. It's definitely a long walk, but very nice to see where I used to call home again.

I've not spent much time north of Yonge & Finch, but a few pauses revealed...

NY Centre (near my HS Alma Mater)
401 Underpass
Hoggs Hollow
Belly Buster Submarine (my picture may still be up on the wall...)
Sporting Life
Rose & Crown
Summerhill LCBO
Yonge & Bloor (future/never home of 2 Bloor E)
College Park
Dundas Square
Lake

Yeah. Not sure why they started at Wellington. That's in the middle of Aurora. They could at least start at the north end of Newmarket (one town north) if they wanted to avoid a lot of rural. Or they could start in Richmond Hill (one town south) to avoid the sub-suburbs.

Nice Vid.

The problem with the Allen southbound is the way it bottlenecks at Eglinton. If you're trying to go East, good luck - the queue for the turning lane often ends north of Lawrence. >> ^Bruti79:

Better options include Mt. Pleasant or Avenue Rd.

Every time I come to TO and they've closed the DVP for some bike thing or parade, I end up taking Yonge to get downtime and cursing the whole way. Upvote anyway

Or the Allen.
