Really? Cost is what's keeping you away from WoW? That's like saying "Crack is great but I wish it weren't so expensive".

I think the bigger issue is whether you want to spend half your waking hours in a virtual world. Maybe you do. I had some great times in WoW.

I played the open beta and the first few months after final release, and then two Burning Crusadem trial. The problem I don't play a lot of games anymore (0-2 hours a week) and paying subscription for that much play isn't worth it.
