Crosswalk Madness

Two buildings are part of high school in Austin, MN. What separates them is a road, but they are connected via an underground tunnel. What happens when you create a continuous cycle of students walking across the road then under the tunnel? Watch the video

I find putting pepper spray in the windshield sprayers and aiming them forward takes care of uncontrolled crosswalks. I will also be buying diesel train horns from that website that goes around scaring the crap out of people.

This demonstrates something else - how easy it is to disrupt a sophisticated system (in this case Traffic), using very low-tech methods.

Living in the San Fran Bay area i've often thought how easy it would be to shut down the entire regional area for days with little more than 4-5 strategically placed burning 'hazmat' tanker trucks.

one day i was in london, the day tony blair was pretending to have a vote on going to war... with a friend we started crossing the road back and forth very slowly. a few people joined in. then one guy sat down. then we all sat down. then other people sat down. then the road was blocked. right in front of the houses of parliament.
