Zero Punctuation: Guitar Hero World Tour

This week, will Zero Punctuation's rock star fantasies be fulfilled with Guitar Hero World Tour?

Stick around for the Deus Ex song at the end.

Finally a game I can comment about.

I've played the guitar, and I also think the slider bar is useless. And I'm also annoyed that the playlist is weak, except for the three tracks from TOOL. I don't really like the 80s that much.

My main instrument is the drum set, and yes, the cymbal and hi-hat are ridiculously bad. After about five minutes of playing they stop picking up all the hits, which is absolutely detrimental to songs like "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters. Most of that song is the hi-hat, and catching every other note makes you fail hardcore.

But it's still fun while it lasts. I like Rock Band better, unless there's a real drum set somewhere. Then I ignore the video games and rock out for real. \m/

I am very happy that he gave huge amounts of shit to Harmonix for their hugely belated release of the game in Australia for NO GOOD REASON.

I say this purely out of hatred for a company treating my country like a backwater little town not worth their time, and not at all to do with me actually wanting to play one of these games. Because I never, ever have.

That's right, I've never even picked up a guitar from either game. (And yes, I do have my own actual guitar... and yes, I can play... um... 2 chords... shuddup).

I have a friend stuck in Australia right now. They just now finally got Rock Band 1. Ludicrous. I feel for them. I'd be interested as to who is really to blame though - Harmonix or EA.
