IssyKitty is the star in that thumbnail.
For now it's all about the Canon 21.1 MP EOS 5D Mark II, but then again it doesn't cost two thousand dollars more. Better yet sell your house and get a RED ONE Camera.
YouDieJoe did a good job editing and working around the D90s faults, the biggest being the the scanning of line by line from top to bottom, so if you move the camera too much you would see the image physically sway side to side (aka rolling shutter). Stationary shots are the best for it.

True, true. I do mention the superior of ydj's cam in my vid and also here. My cam needs lots and lots of light else it looks terrible - so I had to crank the gain. Excuses aside, I bow to ydj for his excellent cam and his cam skills.

I found his succinct review extremely helpful, actually. I had been considering the D90 and had no idea of its limitations.

Lucky was always older in my mind and blankfist was younger.
I might even be tempted to attend a NYC gathering even though I hate all of you.

Like the other video, a terribly boring self link. Not only does it fail, but it's going to waste space on the front page. How awesome. Can we get a button for ignore on videos?
Though you may not care, most Sifters are friendly people who are very interested in the real life gatherings of their fellow humans. If it was really that boring, it wouldn't be receiving all the votes that are putting it on the front page. (I think you're just sad because you don't know the enjoyment of hanging out with nice people. I do feel bad for you.)
And yes, you have the ability to ignore videos. It's a great feature called don't visit VideoSift any more.

I always picture lucky760 as being taller and more muscular.
I'd always thought volumptuous was an overweight woman.
I've seen pics of blankfist (in wanted photos at the post office), so he and hbleusea looked as advertised.
DFT was the biggest unknown to me. Knowing he is a musician, I guess I figured he'd have long hair, a 5 o'clock shadow, and wear an unbuttoned flannel shirt with a black rock & roll t-shirt underneath and torn up jeans and a pair of black Converse low-tops.

The video fell together nice and easy, I cut it and added music in about an hour.
The camera is a Nikon D90 for those interested and is a fantastic DSLR still camera and good as a video gathering device, takes lots of caveats to make video look good, so I certainly understand Farhad2000 reluctance to endorse it as a video camera. It shoots video at 720P @ 24fps and that along with a lens that has a short focal length gives it that warm film feel.
Already looking forward to next years sift-up, and by the way If anyone wants to send along a plane ticket (round trip) to London I would be glad to shoot for their up coming sift-up as well
