oh no, the source material is very fucking real.
It plays at the beginning of DVD movies in the U.K. and it does compare downloading illegal stuff to car theft and purse snatching along with shop lifting. I don't really mind for that reason (althought what it compares is a little extreme), hey if I was a film maker I would get pissed if I was losing money even before release day as valve did with their Zero-day piracy problem,
But, this is why I hate it. It comes on at the beginning of DVD movies, yes that's right, movies that I bought legitimately... "you wouldn't steal a car"
"YES I BOUGHT THIS BLOODY FILM WITH MY COLD HARD CASH YOU DICK!" It makes me scream blue murder at my TV, and quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if this PSA motivates people to steal movies, just so they can sit down an watch without having some prat telling that stealing films is wrong.
Unfortunately, we're using the one canadian tank right now to defend against the russians.
otherwise, I would take it and single handedly occupy poland.
I've actually copied dvds I've bought just to remove this piece of crap. Therefore this stupid ad has made me copy a movie where I otherwise wouldn't have.
