Not looking forward to so much of what is going to have to be experienced, when the men of the U.S., come back as damaged goods....saw it in my grandfathers, vets from Nam-We all have a lifetime of support for our family members and friends, waiting for us next year, and for each one that follows, until they move on.

The paradigm is flawed ladies and gentlemen. Mankind must destroy those who orchestrate these disasters, annihilate those who send us to fight for their microscopic, ego-feeding empires......they are the destructive element, as are all, retrograde constructs, and defective, indulgent humans, who would have us view the world through their process....
Hint??? It will take losing perhaps, a third or more, of the earth's population, to drive that message home, unfortunately, tis necessary at this point, without intervention from some other source.

Welcome to the world of the real.

What a great sift. Kudos Farhad. I think it's great because it shows a side of combat that is rarely, if ever, brought out. It made me think of friends of mine whose sons and daughters are now serving. I will forward this on to them. On a different note, I'm struggling whether to show this to another friend of mine who is my age (44) who is currently serving in the coast guard reserve. Now, I'll grant you, it's unlikely that he will ever need to face anything remotely like this, but he was called up after 9/11 and served for 9 months guarding our borders. He is such a gentle person that I'm curious how he would react to seeing this.

If you found this interesting, you might want to check out a book called "On Killing" by Grossman. An excellent analysis of this sort of thing.

As said by others, excellent sift - saddening, chilling, enraging, fascinating, digusting all at once.

Of everyone who was interviewed, I think the Israeli soldier had the most rational and human response. Just run. It seems more honorable to be imprisoned for desertion then to reluctantly take part in such cruelty.
