How about she takes some responsability on her mistakes ?
Buck stops with the leaders, not the subordinates...and Ms. Rice is one of the so called leaders.

Watching that makes me ill. Leaders dont look for scapegoats to pass blame, they accept responsability, the fact that these guys continually claim it wasnt their fault, is just astounding.

What's funny about this is the fact that Bush recently made a statement to the effect that Iraq "wouldn't let the U.N. weapons inspectors in" so we attacked. The fact of the matter is that the weapons inspectors were actually in Iraq at the time and warned to leave because a U.S. invasion was imminent.

Further, Condy never denied that false connections between Iraq and Al Quaida were alluded to freely by the administration leading up to the war and the evidence for this was shaky at best, nonexistent at worst.

Though i want to kill myself for saying this but Condi totally made this work in her favor. She owned this shit, keep talking so they dont get to question you further, seem confident in your response and make the the accuser look like an asshole. Again to an outside person who doesnt know all the facts (like majority of the American people) she comes off as knowing exactly what she is talking about and her excuse sounds not only plausible but very likely. Now I dont like saying it because I do think she is full of shit here im just saying out of all the masters of the game this clip shows that she is one of the best.
*Edit* Get a better more aggressive person to ask the questions next time, like Osidianstorm just said he left the whole other half of the point slip buy giving her the opportunity to win this round

That might have something to do with the fact that Condi's microphone was turned up significantly louder than Wexler's allowing her to overpower and interrupt.. Besides if that didn't work she had her lackeys with her to "handle" the situation.

As a kid I learned not to lie. And even if I do, I shouldnt try to cover it up with even more lies because that would make things even worse. I also learned to admit my failures and that normal people respect you for doing so.
Now, I thought thats common sense, but when I look at these people, who are supposed to lead millions of other people, I really loose my faith in humankind.
