Non-parents probably don't want to read this. I mean, really.

I enjoyed this video a lot, but I suspect the people who haven't been through birth are going to be ooked out. I mean, even I was reminded of the time I tried to bathe with my infant son and he splurted juicy poop all over both of us.

*sexuality Yeah, for more birth videos. We tried to have a waterbirth with our son, but Dag forgot to put the plug in the blow-up pool and by the time we realised the water was coursing across the living room carpet, I was already pushing him out anyway.

Oh, persephone, you make me laugh. I hope this guy's first sift makes it. I used my promote just a bit ago, or I would help save it at term. I just don't know how much folks who are not homebirth fans will like it. I mean, that doesn't look like a home (at least MY tub doesn't look like that), but it looks pretty non-hospital-traditional.

Some day I will tell my birthstory to those who care about such things, which might be only 2 more people, eh?

Wait, why is this eia? That channel is used for people who do stupid things and thus aren't allowed to breed (because they are dead or disabled). Puting it in eia would implay you think this is a stupid thing to do. That's not what you meant is it?

Great sift. And to the question in regards to the bub being underwater for a long time... yeah while they're still attached to the umbilical cord (before the placenta detaches from the mother) it's getting all it's oxygen directly in its blood through there.

There's a cool thing with babies in that they will not breath in until air touches their skin. There's a mechanism whereby once air touches their skin it triggers the breathing via the mouth/nose... so if you give birth underwater that is not yet triggered. It's also why you can't imediately put them into water if you happened to have been out of the water to begin with.

Good to see a more natural birth to counter the alarming increase in elective caesars and drug addled births.
