Never played the game, but that's a confusing future history - 2070s as retro-50s?

This game truly rocked. I loved the retro look and feel of the entire game.

Because whimsical developers got replaced by the soulless, lifeless, mass producing publishing houses that run the entire industry. Like EA

I too loved the fallout games, although fallout 2 took forever ever to beat.

For those that don't know already, Fallout 3 is coming out sometime next year. I've never played the first 2 games but I am a huge fan of Morrowind and Oblivion from Bethesda. In my opinion, they could be making the best game ever with fallout three. The reviews are incredible.
