Stumble ThisReal-time lighting provided by the Unreal 3 Engine. Most noticeable from halfway through the video and onwards, underground caves beautifully lit by torch light.

Why am I only learning of this game now!?
It looks like their website only came online recently, April I think, from the date-stamps on their forum posts.
www.darkfallonline.com is another very similar concept, (open world pvp, and no classes), but I couldn't find as pretty a video for them.
The lighting and art is nice, but I don't think it's technologically any better than Doom3.
The torchlight stuff was ok as well I guess, but overall, underwhelmed.
It's nice to see more MMORPG competition for warcraft, although this isn't really the direction I'm interested in. I'm more interested in persistent world building and less interested in PvP.

Then you should DEFINITELY check out the lego MMO they're working on.

I thought that your heading was Real Time LIGHTNING not lighting... and so when I watched the trailer, well, there was some lightning, so I continued to think that's what you'd meant, and was underwhelmed by it.
I even wrote lighting instead of lightning... weird.
Anyway... the LIGHTNING is not impressive
