The US Navy's Electromagnetic Rail Gun that is under development at NSWC Dahlgren in Virginia. This is a prototype to demonstrate the technology of the rail gun for use on the future DDG-1000 class of Navy ships. This clip is from the show FutureWeapons on the Discovery Channel. It aired in April 2007.

I don't like the military industrial complex and warmongers either therealblankman. I do like the technology and the science that's behind these machines, which is the reason I posted this video. and true... the presenter sounds like a moron

Btw, I've upvoted because it's technology, but, there's a quote that "enturbulated" me :

in my time in military the term soft targets was always used for humans. it nothing else but brainwash. it lets you forget that actually you're trained to kill other human beings. just the same with the organized de-humanization of POWs. If you are under the impression that you are not dealing with "real" humans it makes it easier to torture, kill or do whatever with them. That's the military.
