Although this scene is fun, the whole middle section digressing into farce is what makes this the weakest proper James Cameron movie.

actually this happens to be one of my favorite movies. Does it have to be an action movie in order to make it good? Comedy can be just as epic.

This is definetly one of Arnie's best movies, personally I'd put it up there with T2 or Predator. It's not even just stupid fun like Commando, it's just plain fun.

Bill Paxton is just brilliant in this one. I even like the last scene in the movie where he is playing a waiter.

Well, even the weakest James Cameron movie is one of my favourite movies. Here's how I rank his films, in order of personal preference:

1. Aliens
2. The Abyss (I think this is one of the most underrated films of all time)
3. Terminator
4. Terminator 2
5. True Lies
6. Titanic

Aaand that's all his movies. Pretty amazing that a guy can become one of the most well-known directors of all time off six movies, and he hasn't even made one in twelve years. But if you look at that list, True Lies sticks out as the most standard, the least ambitious. This is not to denigrate the film.. I fucking love it! I was there opening night in 1994.

Yea I loved this movie. When the AV-8 Harrier jet flies up next to the building..... sweetness.
Jamie Lee Curtis said a sequel was kinda in the works, but 9/11 dispelled that.
