I saw that one...I decided to post this one too because they also show this guy when he goes into BIG mode. I wonder what the criteria is for going with the look real big or look real small defense is.

Firstly, I think this is awesome. -Does anybody have translation of the descriptions for the two responses? I'm assuming, it puffs up for the smaller threat to "scare it", but when facing a larger threat, it tries to mimic something undesirable?

To me it looked like when he saw another bird that was his size, then he got bigger to scare it off. (The first bird was 35 cm, the second 75 cm... guessing that was wingspan) With the second bird, which was bigger than him, he tried to use his natural camouflage. Since the front of him is white and brighter, he drew in those sections leaving only the gray viewable. If you look at this picture you'll see how it is camouflage.
