Trailer for the 1940's Batman and Robin serial

Thousands of years ago, back in the 1940s, they invented Batman, but had not yet invented color. This is his story. This was shot entirely on wooden cameras on film made of stone. Back then, Batman tended to fight mobsters more often than mutants. Visual sound effects, like "POW!" and "BAM!" were in full effect, in spite of the technical limitations of the time. It is believed that each "POW!", "BOFF!", and "UNGH!" was created by our primitive 1940s ancestors through a process of scoring the film with bone fragments taken from the dinosaurs they hunted.
