Ah, so torn. On one hand this is hilarious and makes me embarrassed for humanity. On the other, the author is a guy who writes fanfiction to teach himself English http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1047027/squirrelking. Yeah, his stories are all crap, but for a good reason, and he's already surpassed the level of Star Wars Novelist as a writer.

The actually story is written seriously. The narration and animation is by someone different and is to parody the crappy story. That's cool that he wants to learn english, but it doesn't make the story any less crappy.

I write stories (not fan-fiction mind you) to practice my Japanese sometimes. The difference being that I usually upload it to lang-8 or ask my Japanese friends to check it over before I post it on my blog or anything. If you are learning a language but are never corrected on your mistakes, you will develop bad habits. So yeah, kudos to this guy for trying so hard at learning English, but seriously, find someone to proof-read before you upload.
