And yeah, not one of those fear claims was actually backed up with an explanation. As far as schools, well, in schools (at least public schools I'm hoping, I myself went to a Baptist one), kids learn that people from all faiths are okay, so I don't see how this is any different. USA is supposed to be about a "melting pot" of cultural diversity, why not sexual diversity? What's the big f-ing deal? I can never find a good argument against same sex marriage.
Churches have nothing to worry about, they are private institutions and don't have to accept anyone if they don't want to (which is why the private university, Bob Jones, got away with an interracial dating ban until recent years). And I'm shaking my head trying to figure out how the gays compromise a doctor's faith? Does she not want to allow a gay spouse to make decisions for his/her loved one during a medical emergency? That's really the only scenario I can think of. This is all BS.
