He does not even deal with the obvious problem of where all the water came from when the earth expanded. Neglecting to realize that all the land would have been underwater is a pretty obvious problem with this.

Also he contends that physics would have to be thrown out if the earth was expanding, which is absurd. If something was causing the earth to expand there is no reason to believe that the mechanism would have to contradict our basic understanding of physics.

Moving this video to Abducted's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 3 days.

soooo...
step 1: make a claim that the earth was smaller
step 2: Show diagrams of the earth's continents warping and melting together as the diagram of the earth decreases in size.
step 3: Make some circumstantial "evidence" about the age of the sea floor as it relates to distance from the lines between tectonic plates which can support either idea as valid.
step 4: Bore the listener into not caring anymore and falling asleep so that the information they are now hearing will be entered into their subconsciouses.

Hard to imagine for all we think we know as certainty, but things are NOT as we've been told.

Yeah, scientists are out there not to learn the truth, but to propagate this complicated conspiracy web.

Actually the sea floor claim is one of the tenants of tectonic theory. The rock in the middle of the ocean is younger because because new plate is being pushed out of the fissures there. Over millions of years it gets pushed into one of the continental plates, and either gets pushed up, from the mantle, causing mountains etc, or goes under it and back into the mantle. (Forgive inaccuracies on my part as this is coming from my memory of geology class)

Also we don't find fish fossils in the water because its extremely hard to go fossil hunting underwater.

Did I miss something? How is this NSFW? Not safe for brains maybe but who uses those at work anyways.

Something else I noticed about one of the claims. They claim the crust can not subduct into the mantel because of the mantel's density, but as far as I understand density is not a measure of hardness. While dense things can indeed be hard, they don't have to be. Hence a slightly harder crust could subduct into a liquid. I'd also imagine that same crust would become denser as it moved into the higher pressure area.

Further, assuming the material that spewed out from the earth causing the expansion didn't come from a magical source, it would mean the earth was much much much more dense in the past, which I would assume would mean the earth would have a stronger gravitational pull. Is there evidence for this anywhere?

[EDIT] Pictures are fun http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/Tectonic_plate_boundaries.png
