Moving this video to HistNerd's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 3 days.

It's actually kind of moving and a good reminder that our enemies usually aren't as nefarious as our leaders want us to believe, in fact, they are much like ourselves.

Shit, I'm utterly surprised this was allowed to go down. Seriously.
Great concept.

I still can't get over this. Anybody know the story behind it? It wasn't that long ago these soldiers would have seen heavy disciplinary action. (or shot..)

Ironically, I own the JSA movie you linked Histnerd. Thanks for the vid.

^ Exactamente, Baera, 'cause this looks like real border to me. I know some of you have been there, do you think this was actually filmed at the border? Is there a lightly supervised zone conducive to filming this?
Great Vid!

Upvote despite the commenters who can't read - "same film-set that was used in JSA." They recreated the entire border as a stage, and these aren't soldiers. Still, the South Koreans won this thing hands down, which only makes sense since their Glorious Leader is the world's finest underground breakdancer and MC.
