How America Lost the War on Drugs
After Thirty-Five Years and $500 Billion, Drugs Are as Cheap and Plentiful as Ever: An Anatomy of a Failure.

Don't you think that your shtick would be so much more effective if you weren't anonymous?
Here we go again. Next we should legalize pot because it doesn't hurt anyone and cocaine because I'm sure neither would impair driving ability. Pot smokers are losers...boring....
Yeah! You hear that pot heads, some guy with 420 in his name(oh the irony) is saying you're losers! So get your asses out and do something productive, go get drunk! Remember it's legal so that means it's ok!

I agree...a lot of stoners are boring losers, but shouldn't it be their right to be so? I mean if it were legal, would you start smoking it? Probably not...
You know what would change that stern attitude? Smoking pot.
I'll keep (occasionally) smoking marijuana until it's legal, then celebrate by smoking it some more.
"400 million dollars in Canada" (as quoted at 8:34 or so) works out to about $12 per year for each person in my country. And that's just a tiny bit of the true cost.
The government is
- losing an incredible possible source of tax revenue,
- spending to prosecute and arrest for marijuana,
- spending to prosecute and arrest the other crimes committed by criminal organizations that are being funded by marijuana sales, and
- losing the opportunity to create many jobs.
Ree-fuckin'-diculous.

There might just be hope for you yet.
Big glitch at the 7:20 mark. Alternative embed?
Looks like there's a glitch in the matrix! Quick, call Cypher on your cell phone and let's get out of here!

Heres a big reason why pot does not get legalized... America as a whole does not WANT IT!
I'll admit that it has medicine properties that can be used for people whos health is failing, but what we don't want, don't need is another cigarette. We don't need people polluting the air we breath any more then it already is. We don't need people impairing themselves while they are around us. It is a demonstrated fact that most people in this world are idiot incapable of making wise decisions day to day. Adding another weapon to their arsenal to screw with my life is not something I am gonna run right out and sign on.
If you dont like it...move the f out of my country!
The only (big and extremely ignorant) reason America as a whole does not want it legal is because they've been brainwashed into thinking it's BAD! It's of the devil. It will make you a crazy person, wanting to rape and kill!
Do you know how many people die a year from alcohol? 125,000+! And it's legal. And addictive!
Do you know how many die a year from smoking weed? 0! And it's not legal. And non-addictive. What's wrong with this picture?
Here's some numbers for you to chew on Mr. Owner of America:
Deaths per year from:
Tobacco=340,000-395,000
Alcohol (not including accidents)=125,000+
Drug overdose (prescription)=14,000-27,000
Drug overdose (illegal)=3,800-5,200
Marijuana=0
You also cannot get lung cancer from smoking it. It has been proven to block Alzheimer's disease. It helps cancer patients with their appetites after chemo. It helps with pain, sleeping disorders, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.
Now, put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!!

I love all the people who think it would be a good thing if it were legal.

Go have a scotch and beat your wife up then spit on your black house boy...
The idea that 'most' americans don't want Cannabis legalized is IMHO false considering that more people have or do smoke then people who don't and never have.
America the 'Free' my ass. It's only free to those with wool pulled over their eyes.
... oh, wait ...
I can only hope that these ridiculous laws will be repealed within my lifetime. Its a nice image; that in the distant future I might sit down with friends and loved ones and have a smoke without any fear of prosecution or stigma.
We're fighting an uphill battle my friends, but believe me when I tell you that the grass shall be greener on the other side.
