This is something you'd rarely see back in the day - the garbage train operating during regular operating hours.
Making it even more obscure is the fact that garbage containers were removed from subway platforms in the past few years, as the safety types realize that bombs could easily be hidden inside such containers on platforms - or so goes my theory.
It doesn't help that this train caught fire a few years ago at Old Mill station when some ashes from a cigarette ignited the rest of the garbage. Fortunately that station is partially outdoors, so evacuating the workers wasn't as hard as it could've been.
