Although the series goes a bit wayward around the middle, the ending is the best ending i've ever read. The only (yes, only) ending to an epic story that didn't disappoint me after building me up and promising me greatness. And i've read most of 'em.

(And if you want the polar opposite of this, read wheel of time rofl, that's right it's called wheel of time rofl (the rofl is important), the worst series of books on the planet)

I was pretty deadly with a slingshot as a kid. Not as good as this guy, but seriously I could hit anything within 20 yards pretty reliably. I used to buy 200 white marbles for $10 from the variety store and use those to shoot.

Aiming a slingshot is the same as aiming a bow and arrow, or even flicking a rubber band.... extend the imaginary line to your target, release. I find it easier than aiming a gun and don't need to line it up with my eye.

Thanks to moonsammy for actually getting me to watch this (your comment was in the best comment thing on the front page) as I love the Dark Tower series.

But that is some serious accuracy there... 'Which way would you like it to fall', oh for f*ck's sake, making a weed of that thickness fall the way you want? Insane.

I'm really not that impressed. We used to make the wrist rockets with bending some 3/8" rod and the sling is that surgical tubing stuff. I guarantee it had way more range and probably more accurate since it uses your forearm instead of holding it in your hand.

Though he is pretty good at the toss and hit, but that is more practice and timing than anything else. Steel ball bearings were used.
