"The Prestige" Monologue Typography done with AfterEffects

A brilliantly done typography of a very underrated movie in "The Prestige".

I thought the movie was fantastic. The only downfall was not enough Bowie!

This would have been better if the audio didnt have long sections of awkward pauses as well as consistent noises, but alas, its taken from some loud scenes.

The film was entertaining, but I wouldn't necessarily say underated - it was well acted, wonderfully shot, and the accompanying score and environments wove a this interesting story together fantastically. However, I think the main weakness was in the plot. The end just seemed a bit of a cop out to me, it seems the writer got a bit too distracted trying to put across his message rather than a more complex and 3 dimensional storyline. To quote a friend: 'The film is really a character study of the two magicians, without them really being interesting or multi-dimensional characters to begin with'. Entertaining film, good film, and I think 8.4 is a fair rating - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482571/

EDIT: Also, the typography video is cool :] - agree with above though, would have been nice if they could have gotten hold of one cut of the speech, or even put some of the soundtrack in the background to break up the pauses.
