The Petaminx: most diabolical Rubik's cube ever

It is entirely custom built and contains almost 1000 moving parts. Its construction took place over two months, including: 20 hours on masters and molds; 12 hours casting parts; 30 hours cleaning up parts and sanding; 7 hours assembling all 1000 parts; and 6 hours stickering.

It's just a solving pattern/equation that some nerd will figure out the first day. What would be cooler is a motorized cube that turns itself as you try to solve it and randomly shocks you with 50 thousand volts.

Only a masochist would custom build something so diabolical. Unless of course they have some friend that's good at rubix cubes and just wants to torture them.

Either way, damned impressive work and craftsmanship!

So what you are telling me is that it is quicker to build one from scratch than to actually solve it.
