I remember first hearing about the "Mothman" stuff a long time ago and finding it fascinating. I usually take every opportunity to watch/read anything I come across about it. The human mind is very susceptible to suggestion, and in turn, hallucinating. Who knows, this - like almost every UFO sighting - could be nothing more than a prank or story taken to extremes.

And, yeah, I'll recommend another book about this kind of stuff; Carl Sagan's "The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark". It's got some really interesting stuff in a couple chapters about UFOs and the "face on Mars" and where the majority of these sightings and stories stem from. Great read.
