Agree with @RedSky, I don't see how he can spend any more studio money unless this movie kicks ass. Unfortunately, based on Shyamalan's track record, this will blow.

Maybe he knows it, and that's why he's doing a kids movie. They are a lot more likely to forgive his normal filmmaking transgressions...

I dunno, I really liked the only movie of his that I've seen, "Lady in the Water". I understand that a lot of folks didn't, but it just spoke to me. I'm not likely to run out and see this one in the theater, but I'll definitely be getting it from Netflix.

I have an uncanny sense at being able to tell if a film or game is good or bad from its trailer: this looks like a pile of crap
