Yes, this goes in a private playlist of mine "against design". Though I am tempted to call it "The Devil's Design". I mean, if Satan could convince God to torture Job, maybe he convinced him to make these messed up creatures to test humanity's faith.
You know... when you think about it from that context... this argues for design.
Then again, it also argues that God is a twisted fuck.
It's like Good Cop, Bad Cop. One's a hardass, the other pretends to be your friend; but in the end, they're both cops. They'll find out what you did wrong sooner or later and punish you for it, or they'll just straight up frame your ass.
Either way, you better have a backup plan.
It may not prove that there is no god, but it's certainly evidence that if there is one, he's one sick, psycho SOB.
