I'm glad I've been seeing a renewed interest in this HIGHLY underrated game (although at the time it did receive great review scores it still seems to be overshadowed by civ). I forget what tech it was ... but the video that repeated "We must dissent!" with graffiti being erased by high tech wall gadgetry always sent tingles up my spine.

Yessir, AC was/is a fine game. For some reason I found it a skosh less addictive than the Civs but it ate up plenty of my hours nonetheless.
