If so, grow up sift, you've got some logical arguments to make.
My room mates brother watched as his girlfriend was raped with a knife to his throat, while their room mate was held at gunpoint after being retrieved from his room.
What if he had a pistol in his room?
As much as you'd like to believe the contrary, there are horrible people who want to hurt other people.
This is not an appeal to pity. This is an example of when home protection would have been convenient.
