Beat me to it!

WTF are we all reading. These vote fraud crooks need to be in jails. This country has gone insane. Legal voters get harassed and forced to vote provisional, based on asshats like this running the show.

But, joedirt, they're our lawmakers, so they obviously know better than us. We voted them in because they're smarter than us. The country should be controlled by an elite few, right? Who needs the constitution and all that liberal nonsense. Bah humbug and poppeycock and baulderdash.

Texas flavor Democracy(TM) in action. Not unlike Presidential elections of former Texas governors.

In actuality.. that is not Democracy. It is a farce. It should be illegal and punishable by immediate expulsion, not punishment at the 'discretion of the legislature'. All bills voted on in such a manner should be negated. Made null and void, and re-upped for vote .. minus those who violated rules and forced a re-vote to occur.

Texas.. southern morality indeed. I see it not. Now it becomes more clear... Texas government morality moves to the white house, and we get Bush Jr.

Judge Dredd that sh*t. Make it so it reads your DNA in order to cast your vote. It's not like it would honestly be that hard, for crying out loud, some schools you use your finger print to pay for your lunch and my college's gym uses it for access. So at least use finger print ID's or chain their hands to their keypad until they leave.

Lunacy. A lot of ridiculous state laws make sense all of a sudden.

in every job, there's stuff where the guy training you says "er, we aren't supposed to do this, but basically you have to do this or we would never get any work done"

as far as i can see the solution here is to carry on turning a blind eye or flat out allow proxy voting. After all, the voter record is available right? so if your rep's "friend" votes wrongly, you and your rep can know about it.

the solution is NOT to require all representatives to sit in a big room all day voting, then you would complain they never see the voters in the real world.

What else can the people expect? They been asleep and have let the fox guard the hen house! They get the kind of government they deserve.

"Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think."
