Team Fortress 2 Griefing

Not cool, but funny.

I had that happen to me on that map. (The underground turret thing) Is it just that map that it works? There was nothing you could do to destroy the turret, so every time you went to go defend your point, you die. IT really sucked the fun out of the game. I hate fucking cheaters.

I thought "Long" could not be called for videos under 10 minutes? The FAQ is pretty specific: "(Note, this is a hard limit of 10 minutes, and videos of 9:59 minutes in length do not qualify for the LONG flag.) "

The Sentry gun exploit allows a member of a given team to get "under" the map where the turrets are invulnerable to enemy fire, yet are able to fire on enemy units. (Apparently you can't fire through the ground from above, but you can fire through it from below.) To answer your question specifically, the sentries are not shooting at their own team players.

I'm sorry I hate exploits...but more I hate lame asseswho come up with retarded arguements like "Why would they put this in the game unless its allowed?" - Um, design flaw?

Well done for finding it, but the idea of this is someone "fun" is only so by taking away everyone elses "fun"

I say, in a Single Player game, cheat all you like, but in Multiplayer, you're just a big twat.

/Rant off

Valve should just be ontop of it and fix the damn bug.

Oh and the other griefing, like the teleporter thing and the "art" on the wall, is within the confines of the game, even if it is against the spirit of it. The joys of /kick.

And this is just another reason why I just don't enjoy online gaming. I have TF2 thanks to the orange box, but after playing for an hour I was reminded just how unfun these kinds of games are to me.

And dickheads like this do not make the game fun for ANYONE except their own stupid selves.

I like playing against others, but only in lan situations where you're playing against like people with similar skills and the actual desire to have fun.

Urgh

Wow. I never heard of the term "greifing", but after watching this video and laughing myself into stitches, I think I've found a new calling in life. This was awesome. "Seriously, are you trying to get us to lose?" That was awesome. Certainly *geek, too.
