Pick up the back of the tarp... stupid fucks!
They should have had the teams come out and surround the thing - might have provided adequate manpower along with the entire outside edge being lifted. There was just *way* too much friction under that thing for them to have a chance.
But I suppose the guys making 100s of thousands / year (or way better) couldn't be bothered to do something as lowly as help move a tarp that's protecting your own damn playing field. Hell, seeing the team help would probably win them some fans.

It's a nice sentiment but put simply it's not their job. And can you imagine a player getting injured doing something like that?

The league minimum is about $2 million per year. And there have been several instances in the past where the team (sometimes both teams) did help the grounds crew.
