Patch 1.1.0.0 (i think) was the time i left that game. Never looked back, thanks to Quake 3 Fortress & Quakeworld TF.

No vote because of the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack. I love it, but i can't stand it anymore. Over-used.

I'd never heard of this game until just now. And it does look pretty great. The Spy playing dead, and changing clothes to look like the other team was just awe inspiring. Shows great attention to detail.

But, the comparison isn't a fair one. People play CS for different reasons. It's not an all-out-mad-fast-paced-shoot-at-anything that moves type of game they're looking for in CS. They want the tactical realism, where you COULD be sitting in one spot for minutes at a time just waiting for that kill shot. Although, it's strangely frounded upon. It's a slower game by choice. Not by lack of content.

Spy playing dead... genius.

It upsets me that the Sounds the person used for the Movie are from CS not TFC
An Example is the sound the Sniperrifle makes when fired is actually the sound an "AWP" Sniperrifle from CS.

What I could never stand about CS online was that because of it's one hit kill nature it meant your connection speed was more important than anything else. The variety of classes in TF make it slow connections playable. In CS, a 10ms disadvantage can be enormous. I also think that CS is played the most because anyone can jump in and start getting kills right away. The initial learning curve in TF is a little steeper and more people give up before learning how to really play.
