awesome...

The moon could be seen to do this quite recently here from Alaska as far South even as I near Anchorage.

Notice how the sun rotates around the sky and not over it.

Obviously not all from June.. then that is nigh unto Winter at the S. Pole... and it should be dark full time.

So was that the moon or the sun appearing at the same time as the stars and aurora? It seems like the camera would have to have amazing dynamic range to capture the sun with the stars, and the atmosphere would have to be amazingly clear (which is possible at the South pole).

During the months without light, the moon must still show up in Antarctica, right? Never really thought about that.

And seeing the sky and stars rotate completely horizontally, that's trippy.

And great music.

if you like this music check out Isis, particularly their albums Oceanic and Panopticon, they're the cream of the crop of this genre (avant-garde/post-hardcore).

My favorite video on VideoSift to date. Excellent pick. I plan on promoting it again as soon as I earn that privilege. 31 votes is simply not enough.
