Recent events have once again made me think of this song, yet again. The century is still young, but how crimes of the century have we already witnessed:
1. 9/11
2. Two stolen American elections
3. War of aggression in Iraq
4. The horrible response to Hurricane Katrina
5. Massive failure of the American financial sector
And a possible sixth if Congress gives Treasury Secretary Paulson exactly what he wants. Even if they don't, we're still screwed. What other massive crimes of this century can you name?
