This would be similar to say, a first baseman faking a throw back to the pitcher so the baserunner relaxes and steps off the bag. Then tagging that baserunner. The difference here is that the penalty for not being aware is much higher.
This is technically legal, because as soon as the ball is out of the goalie's hands it's fair game. However, the goalie could just stand still and wait for the guy to move. You're allowed to annoy the goalie quite a lot, but not to the point that it's "dangerous play" tackling a "goalkick" with the ball in the air and such, but it is the referee's discretion how far you can take it.

Illegal in baseball? Variations of the Hidden Ball Trick are still done... although they arent that common in the major leagues anymore, cause people have learned to look out for that sort of thing more often, they are still done.

Illegal in baseball? ...
I meant to imply that it's NOT illegal in soccer the same way the hidden ball trick is NOT illegal in baseball. Just a form of legal trickery.
I've seen the same sort of play in soccer clips many times, but that's the first time I've seen a player intentionally hiding so obviously.
also, the announcer was funny.
No, thats not allowed, I have seen one heading the ball out of the keepers hand, tho, and I think that became a legal goal.
