This isn't just funny, it hits all points right on.

The criticism was thorough and spot on. Though I enjoyed the sword fights and the larger battles (aside from Jar Jar's idiocy) the first time I watched the film, I realize now that they stood out because there was absolutely nothing else of value going on in the film. In the original, the fights were exciting because you were emotionally invested in the participants, not because they had great choreography.

The structure of this critique is very strange though. It's hilarious at times, and at other times way over the top and unfunny. But I guess it's what gets his creative juices flowing. For this quality of criticism, I can suffer through a few "I'm a serial killer" jokes.

I just finished watching the second one and it was amazing. Don't miss it. I guess I should watch them all.

Some really insightful commentary on screenwriting and character development in there. Almost as if this was made by a filmmaker who was close to everything that went on...

I watched the whole damn thing a few weeks ago, as well as all 4 of the Star Trek reviews. The Star Trek reviews are just as good, although obviously won't be as widely well received. So altogether I've watched about four hours of this guy reviewing movies.

The points are good, but the way he delivers them ruins the experience for me.

I can't believe i just watched the whole thing. Strange but funny and so true.. The whole movie is mish mash of poor family entertainment. I mean, i've watched those classic first three (episodes iv-vi) like half a million times but Phantom Menace is something that if it comes from tv and nothing else is on, i switch to static...it should be called Dennis the Menace, maybe it would then be allright.
