I have a lot of reservations about this, I wonder how successfully they can make it feel, like Star Trek. Something I'm not sure would be wildly popular as an MMO, well at least not with anyone who isn't a fan of the series, and wouldn't mind grinding levels by aligning warp coils

Intrigued, but questioning how they can make it work in an MMO.

I'm totally sick of MMO's and their 'soak your cash... grind endlessly for xp and gear with larger + bonuses' methodology. Plot is always an afterthought.

Looks pretty weak to me.

They said its in-game footage, but it's really more like in-engine footage. I saw no action except for a dude hitting his com and being beamed somewhere and maybe a few ships wandering around space.
