I would have done the same thing. What kind of a moron takes a bus down a road it can't fit in the first place? And then hits two concrete pylons? This could have easily turned into much worse and never made it to YouTube.

Well, the best way to avoid this kind of excitement is to stay at home and never travel any further than Disneyland/your local torture museum.

Note to self, next time I travel beyond my daily commute: make a video and get my 5 min's of fame at the Youtubes!

Seriously, I've been laughed at by my friends for decades because of my sissy vertigo, but I would take this bus anytime.

The thing that got me with this video is the fact that he hit the pylons... twice. And it's not even like he was making the turn and happened to bump them with the side of the bus... he just rolled forward on the slope with the gaping cliff in front.

Of course the hysterical woman in front screaming "stop this fucking bus" doesn't really help calm anyone down either.

My wife and I just returned from a two week vacation in Alaska, and we were on plenty of buses while there, and several of them were on steep and curvy roads (Denali National Park is one of them, up by Polychrome Pass). I felt safe because they are experienced drivers who showed no indication of fear. The bus driver in this video just seemed to be spacing out.
