oxdottirsays...I voted, I voted!
But, but, I don't know about Danish, but in English, a solarium is a room. I have one in my house. It's warm, it's got a lot of glass, and it's a good place to grow orchids. That woman is in a tanning bed.
Obsidianfiresays...Jesus... That is one hot model. Let's just say that when she unhooked her bra, my eyes widened.
maatcsays...*requeue
siftbotsays...Re-queueing this video for one more try; last queued Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 12:39am PST - requeue requested by submitter maatc.
CaptWillardsays...Oxdottir's right. Stateside we call them tanning beds.
And you owe me a pair of underwear, maatc. And a new chair. They both got ruined when I saw the surprise ending.
Mezzaninesays...So, what's the point here? Tanning beds kill you? I'll never get in one of those things, as I'm pretty claustrophobic to begin with, and on top of that, I saw that scene from whatever that campy horror movie was where the girls get trapped inside one.
E_Nygmasays...^ that would be final destination 3.
Selektaasays...also I know what you did last summer 2... both quality films (or not)
conansays...in German the term solarium not only is used for the tanning bed itself, but also for the store that offers people to use those and it might also be used for a room. Languages, always funny...
maatcsays...There might also be a language somewhere in which solarium is the name for a drug that counters the effects of valium...
ridesallyridencsays...There was a solarium in that video?
colt45says...I .. Just .. WTF?!
Aemaethsays...Anyone have a translation for the text at the end? Has a certain surprise factor, but not sure I get the point. I spent the whole video waiting to see the point and I still don't see one (except that I need to switch to decaf after that ending).
RhesusMonksays...Since all of you seem *so* concerned about this girl's welfare, I decided to check this out. It's a Danish ad campaign for skin cancer awareness. The last bit of text at the end is something like "tanning kills." Scared the crap out of my when I first saw it off-sift. I was surprised to see it here. Link to info on the ad campaign is: http://www.viralblog.com/2007/11/28/sexy-danish-mascha-vang-strips-for-good-cause/
djsunkidsays...This is practically a "shocker" vid.
Anyway, I thought that a solarium was a name for a sun-room. Kinda like a porch attached to a condominum.
I didn't appreciate the subterfuge.
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'mascha vang, danish, model, in solarium' to 'mascha vang, danish, model, in solarium, tanning salon, bra, panties, lingerie, sexy' - edited by lucky760
quantumushroomsays...Shock ending? She didn't have a sinep.
arnorsays...The direct translation of the text at the end would be: "The tanning bed may cost you your life - turn it off."
8266says...Is that all people have to worry about a tanning bed? This is a waste of money. Not to mention the fact that to make their point they made a snuff film. You'd think they worry about something more worthwhile...
choggiesays...artificial tans look just that....
AnimalsForCrackerssays...That looked terrible. No, no, no, not the model! Well, the tan is a little on the orange side but in no way would a shitty tan ruin the fantasies, running in the hundreds in the allotted time it took to watch this, going through my primitive monkey brain right now. The way they handled the whole 'tanning bed clap-trap of death' thing. In the words of the AVGN, "WHAT were they THINKING?!"
BicycleRepairMansays...The text reads:
"Tanning beds could kill you"
"Turn them off!"
Apparently its a Danish campaign to get people to stop using artificial tanning with UV-rays, because it could lead to wrinkles and skin cancer.
gwiz665says...It's more like
"Tanning beds can cost you your life"
"Turn them off!"
But, not much diff.
In danish "solarium" is indeed be the same as in german, but the actual tanning bed AND a tanning salon.
eric3579says...AHHHHHH
