In the movie Sister Act (1992), lounge singer and murder witness Deloris Van Cartier (Whoopi Goldberg) reluctantly goes into hiding as nun Sister Mary-Clarence in an decaying, inner-city convent where she revives church and community through the choir. A real 90's classic and one of my favorite movies growing up.
