abdicates his thronesteps down from the Presidency: Will there be a great reckoning where he and his cronies will be stripped of their +5 Aura of Presidential Righteousness and will have to face charges for the several crimes against US-laws and International treaties they have committed or will we just wait until he dies and then see him idolized as the greatest president the US had *cough*like Reagan*cough*?I mean, just the amount of videos on videosift illustrating this goverment's total disregard for US-law is staggering. The violations of the Geneva- and Hague conventions do not even have to be listed.
Correct me, if I am wrong, but as I understood it at the time, it is proven that Rove did out a CIA-Agent to harm her husband's political agenda. Under US-law, the outing of CIA-agents is cosidered high treason. What's the hold-up?
Well...first of all, those who could hold him and all his buddies to account, have all been appointed...by...you guessed it, bush and his cronies.
The Justice dept. is full of people deadly loyal to the royalty in charge. Aint shit gonna happen, ever.
That said, I'd be surprised if he serves jail time even with Obama at the helm. Obama seems like he'd halt any vendettas from carrying over for the sake of compromise and unification. And when I think about it, that seems reasonable; at this point its better to just let him die from a heart attack in a few years instead of letting him continue to drag down politics in this country.
