Watching this interview, it seems to me that he's doing this to clear his conscience. He looks, if anything, relieved. Not smug, not nonchalant, just terribly sober. Like someone who's come to grips with losing his faith.

I hope he ends up making a difference, and doesn't get ripped to shreds in the process.
