humm surly observing something and then acting on it evan though you my not be thinking about it in words ore a comunicatable form you are aplying a ratoinal formuli to it.

identifying a true pattern is a ratoinal process.

scince is mearly a methadoligy that works very well for varafying and obtaining true patterns and rooting out things that apear to be patterns but are in reality not.

...........................................................................

the start of the vidoe talks about how scinentists may lack excitment with scince. that may be the case for some people but thats seperate to scince. You can aply the scientific method and still find your findings exciting and inspiring its only important that you dont alow your exspecatoins and excitment could your resarch ore miss gude you.

and yah its always been the case that just listing of a bunch of facts will not educate people. the best educators use storry telling and meaning that the given audeance can understand and identify with.

The buety of scince is that so long as you aply it to day to day life you will end up a better person and over time you will naturaly become better at reasoin and naturaly become more knowlageable.

unlike ideas with religoin that are esentualy dogmatic and alow brains to fester and rot

latter in the vidoe it gose on about the unison of art scince and religoin and how this can be seen in cathedurals and churches. i think thay are missing the piont that the fact is scientists reolized religoin was a waist of time so droped it as a component. that was the advancment, saying "oh actualy we now have plenty of evidence that says God (god i pay to and i go tot heven with) is actualy a pritty stupid unresnable idea. once you have evalutoin and carbon dating understanding of genetics it becomes pritty aprent that the earth is not 6k years old and that people dont "chose" to be gay.

Dear Westy,

You're the only person whose paragraphs I actually read in full.

Diligently,
