Damn! Is there a part two of this? When was this anyway?

I remember this; stole it from a US army depot (if memory serves correctly he had at some point served in the Army, so he knew how to drive it), they stopped him when he got stuck on some embankment/railing time thing. Oh yeah, there it is. Cops climbed on top and shot him to death. (Video doesn't show that last bit, so it's still kosher for VS)

Happened about 11 or 12 years ago.

Ran over a bunch of cars in the process - oh wait, there's the photage.

Actually, it was 11 years ago in May - there's a time stamp on the vid from the chopper.

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this vid (the bulldozer):

I remember this rampage. One of the things I remember about it was the driver was named Shawn Nelson.

ya a man tryed to kill another man with the stolen tank. then when that failed he tried to destroy a bridge by ramming the bridges support. when that failed he when on the interstate with about 20 cops behind him wit 3 choppers in front watching his every move. then he rammed the median, got jammed, then tried to pry himself from the "trap". the cop had no choice. shot twice and was killed on the spot. San Fransisco was saved from its frist maniac ex-army tank commander. now my question was "was that the same thing on the video?".
