SNL has gotten so lazy. It's so obvious that they're reading every line off the teleprompter and that they haven't even gone over their lines to hone their timing. Steve Martin is almost always a winner in my book but, quite frankly, I can't believe SNL is still on the air.

I also just don't think the sketch is funny. You can't live in America without going into debt. If you want a higher education, a car, a home, or anything of any real value at all (your own biz) you have to saddle your ass with some debt and that is the ugly fact of the matter.

Tack on that "variable rate" loan-sharking and it's no wonder we're in trouble.
