Following Lennon's death in 1980, Roxy Music recorded a cover version of the song, and this attracted some criticism at the time as it was suggested that they were cashing in on the success of Lennon's work following his death. Previously Bryan Ferry had recorded the song as a solo artist. The song was the only #1 chart hit for Roxy Music, reaching #1 for two weeks in March 1981. Personally, I think it is a nice cover of Lennon's song. Enjoy!
