as long as this guy can keep religion and state separate, i'm for him. he makes a lot of sense, but then so do a lot of candidates......before they get elected that is. i hate to take a "we'll see" attitude on this, but here's the thing. either he's lying his ass off in order to get the popular vote, and then he'll change his song once he's in office (either by choice or by intimidation); or scenario two is that he'll be the man this country has dreamed of since JFK, and he'll go out the same way.

i'm afraid that the US government has become a mafia of kinds, under everyone's noses. really it's always been this way, but this time it seems more serious. perhaps that's because i'm living in the time, rather than reading about it. either way, it's scary as hell.

Ron Paul is a congressman running on his 10th term. During the last 20 years he's voted consistently according to the US Constitution, and has defended the positions you see in his videos. He's not catering to special interest groups, and he never has. He's a medical doctor who had a successful medical practice for many decades, and decided to get into politics in order to make a contribution.

Look at his voting record. Many times he voted alone against every other representative, because he was the only one sticking by the Constitution. He has a remarkable knowledge of the law, world history and economics. He's not lying, and he has 20 years of open records to back him up.

Every large accident study shows that stoned drivers are better drivers than sober drivers. Cannabis is not a narcotic it is a stimulant.

Also drug laws and their severity have no effect on usage. Usage from country to country vary only with cultural norms the laws have no measurable effect. Your car crash scenario is more likely to happen in a country with harsh drug laws since the user would have more reason to run from the cops.

That is what's happening all over Europe lately, outlawing smoking in public places, bars, anywhere indoors. And yet they still want our money - why not stop selling cigarettes all together then? It's like I'd go down to my dealer to buy some weed and the dealer would threaten me to bash my head in if he ever sees me smoking his shit... stupid. If I can legaly buy cigarettes, why can't I legaly smoke them?
